An amazing Australian story

I read an early draft of this book and it is extraordinary, Australia's own version of those notorious British cases where Irish men were framed for IRA crimes. But this one has been largely unknown until now. McDonald tells a gripping yarn involving corrupt and duped NSW police - Roger Rogerson is one of the key figures - and sinister men from federal agencies, in a sting organised by the Yugoslav secret service. A great read.

Informative and Entertaining

Being an Australian of Croatian heritage my father told me the story of the Croatian Six. In my desire to learn more I discovered and purchased 'Framed'. It is a fantastic piece of journalism as well as a riveting and detailed analysis of the tragic case of the Croatian Six. For those who don't know, the Croatian Six were six men who were set up by the Yugoslav Secret Service, and various corrupt individuals. It was a grievous miscarriage of justice. I would definitely recommend it to any person, not just those of Croatian heritage. It's also a bargain at the price of only $2! I love how the author has utilised eBooks and I would love to see of more of this from journalists in the future :-)
